Uterus
For postmenopausal women, it is not a catastrophe if a pathology report causes the uterus to be removed as a precaution. In premenopausal women, on the other hand, any doubt regarding a pathology report that may lead to hysterectomy mandates consultation with a colleague with GYN expertise.
