Emphysema (enlarged alveoli). Reporting is optional in mild cases in the elderly.
Anthracosis (interstitial black material). Reporting is optional in mild cases in the elderly.
Respiratory epithelial shedding in a small bronchus. If present, look for vascular leakage, mucus hypersecretion and/or widespread airway narrowing, together indicating asthma.
