Summary
| Description | Cholesterol polyp of the gallbladder: The papillary fronds contain numerous foamy macrophages and are lined by biliary epithelium. In this case, there is mild chronic cholecystitis with multiple lymphocytes seen, and subsequently the epithelial nuclei show reactive changes with mild enlargement and irregularity, but not to the degree of being dysplasia. |
